Our Car Standards

Every vehicle we sell is road tested and checked over before sale. Our preparation process includes checking the following:

• Exterior: Checked for significant damage and professionally presented. As these are pre-owned vehicles, normal age and mileage-related cosmetic imperfections may remain.
• Interior: Checked to ensure it is clean, tidy and free from significant damage.
• Engine: Checked for correct operation, fluid levels and diagnostic fault codes.
• Gearbox & drivetrain: Checked for correct operation, including clutch operation on manual vehicles and transmission operation on automatic vehicles.
• Electrical equipment: Major electrical items, including windows, lighting, infotainment and other fitted equipment, are checked for correct operation.
• Tyres: We aim for a minimum of 4mm tread depth and check tyres for general condition.
• Brakes: Checked for condition and operation and to ensure they meet the required MOT standards.
• Suspension: Checked for correct operation and obvious signs of excessive wear or damage.

• All vehicles are professionally presented and valeted to a high standard.
• Available service history is shown within the vehicle description, with photographs provided where applicable.
• Main retail vehicles are supplied with warranted mileage where applicable.
• Vehicles are supplied with a minimum of 6 months' MOT.
• Vehicles are serviced where required as part of our preparation process.
• Extended warranty products are available to purchase for additional peace of mind.
• All vehicles are history checked, with details available on request.

Understanding Used Vehicle Condition

At TML Cars, we carefully select and professionally prepare our vehicles to a high retail standard. However, it is important to remember that our vehicles are pre-owned rather than brand new.

The age, mileage and previous use of a vehicle will naturally mean that some cosmetic imperfections may be present. These can include minor stone chips, light scratches, small dents, wheel marks and other normal signs of previous use.

We address cosmetic issues where we consider it appropriate as part of our vehicle preparation. However, we do not restore used vehicles to an as-new condition, and reasonable age and mileage-related imperfections should be expected.

We want our customers to have realistic expectations and to know as much as possible about a vehicle before travelling to view it. If the cosmetic condition of a particular area is especially important to you, please contact us before your visit. We will be happy to discuss the vehicle's condition and, where possible, provide additional photographs or a walk-around video.
